Ministry of Economic Development has revealed four parties will represent Maldives in two exhibitions to be held in China.
South and Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair (SSACEIF) and the Kunming Import and Export Fair, will take place between June 12 and 18 in Kunming.
Speaking to PSM News, Deputy Minister at Economic Ministry Adam Thaufeeq stated 3 parties will showcase Maldivian products, while 1 party will promote local tourism. The Maldivian delegation participating in SSACEIF and Kunming Fair will be headed by Adam Thaufeeq. Noting preparations are fast underway with the stall fully completed, he said currently efforts are underway to ship products to be showcased in China.
The Maldives has been participating at the fair for the past three years to promote and sell local products to a wide audience.
