Ministry of Islamic Affairs has announced the categories it would issue scholarships funded by the Zakat Fund.
Under the scholarships, students can study from facilities in Maldives, Egypt, Malaysia and countries which are not a part of Organisation for Economic Forum (OECD). Islamic Ministry offers 73 scholarships from which 54 scholarships are allocated from universities and colleges in Maldives. The 54 scholarships allocated from universities and colleges in Maldives include 20 slots for diploma level courses and 34 slots for degree level courses, according to Islamic Ministry.
The application for scholarships is open until June 28.
