Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) has opened opportunity to nominate for Maldives Travel Awards 2018.
The nominations were opened at a ceremony held at the annual MATATO Iftar at Hotel Jen. Nominations can be placed on the website of Maldives Travel Awards 2018, according to organisers. MATATO stated that even though the number of editions was changed, no changes will be seen in the number of awards. Maldives Travel Awards 2018 consists of Guest House edition and Gala Edition. MATATO has decided to include people's edition in the Grand Gala.
Initiated in 2012 MATATO, Maldives Travel Awards celebrate and honour outstanding tourism and hospitality products in the Maldives, while fostering relationships with suppliers and local travel agents. From 20 categories in 2012, the awards have now expanded into three editions totalling 55 categories.
