Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has revealed installation of all bridge deck beams from airport side to approach bridge has been completed.
Noting the aim is to install the last pier by July 9, the Housing Minister stated major works of the Male' end has been completed now. Moreover, the Minister stated from Male' to the first main pier, it measures 715 metres.
The construction of road, which would link up to the bridge by mirroring the lanes of the superstructure, has been commenced by the by the bridge contractor, according to Housing Minister. He further revealed the project is progressing according to schedule and will be completed by July 9.
