Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has said an average of 300 people seek medical attention every day due to cold and flu symptoms. People of all ages have sought medical attention in the past few days noted IGMH, highlighting the number of patients are not increasing.
Meanwhile, a flu clinic has been opened in Hulhumale', where another 300 people have already sought medical assistance. The flu clinic was opened to assist residents in Hulhumale to get better and quicker medical attention as the viral diseases can easily spread.
Health Protection Agency has continuously recommended to take preventive measures to prevent the spread of viral diseases.
