Aasandha Company Limited has revealed over 150 patients has been treated from the flu clinic opened in Hulhumale' Hospital. Patients of all ages visited the clinic, according to Aasandha Company, adding most of the patients were having symptoms of fever and cold.
The clinic was opened in Hulhumale' Hospital to provide easily accessible services as influenza and flu cases are increasing across the country. Aasandha Company has made special arrangements to treat patients from hospitals in Male'. Meanwhile, from May 1-24, over 1,000 patients visited the flu clinic opened in ADK hospital, according to statistics of ADK Hospital, the largest private hospital in the capital city, Male’.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) warned of a flu outbreak advising to take precautionary measures to prevent the spread of influenza and flu. The agency urged to refrain from attending public gatherings and to consult a doctor if symptoms are found.
