Two individuals from Maldives have departed to participate in Quran competitions held in Turkey and UAE.
In this regard, Shameem Faisal Ahmed will represent Maldives in the 6th International Quran Competition held from May 20 to 30 in Istanbul, Turkey. Shameem achieved various awards in Quran competitions held in Maldives and has previously represented Maldives in International Quran Competitions.
Meanwhile, Murushidh Ameen will represent Maldives in Dubai International Prize for Holy Quran held in UAE.
