Maldives promoted in World Culture Festival in China

The Mini Expo of the 15th World Culture Festival has concluded with the participation of Maldives in Beijing, China. The festival was held in Beijing Language and Cultural University.
Beijing Language and Cultural University is known for the importance given on various cultures. While students over 97 countries study in the university, it holds various festivals to showcase culture.
As special guests, spouse of the Maldivian Ambassador in China, Fathimath Jeehaan Saleem and Cultural Department's Head of the Embassy Ibrahim Shaaz Habeeb attended the festival. Jeehaan Saleem visited the Maldivian stall and appreciated the efforts of Maldivian students in foreign countries to showcase Maldivian culture.
One Maldivian student worked in organising the stall Naahy Mohamed stated different activities were held to increase the number of visitors to the stand. Meanwhile, visitors to the stall revealed visiting the stall increased the knowledge about Maldives.
During the one day festival, students from more than 100 countries and regions had promoted their home country's culture. As one of the most well-known culture events in Beijing, it attracted thousands of visitors.
