The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousuf bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen has departed Maldives, after concluding his official visit to the Maldives.
During this visit, Dr. Al-Othaimeen paid a courtesy call on President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and met senior officials of the government of Maldives, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohamed Asim. The Secretary-General also delivered a lecture at Maldives National University.
The Secretary General was seen off by Foreign Secretary Ahmed Sareer.
