Civil Service Commission of Maldives (CSC) has reveals plans to establish a daycare centre in Male' city for mothers serving as civil servants.
CSC exerts major effort to ease the livelihoods of mothers working in civil service. The government of the Maldives aims to increase the number of women working in the country by empowering them. To make the objective a reality, CSC works to establish convenient means for women who are part of the workforce. 65% of the workforce in the civil service are women, according to statistics.
The commission is working to establish a daycare centre in Male' city to assist the mothers, President of CSC Ali Shameem revealed. The daycare centre will benefit all the women in the sector, Ali Shameem said, adding the government aims to solve issues to all problems.
