Public Service Media (PSM) has signed as the official media partner of the training programme on pole and line fishing for youth organized by Gemanafushi Masveringe Jamiyya. The agreement was signed by Managing Director of PSM Ibrahim Khaleel and Founder of Gemanafushi Masveringe Jamiyya Ahmed Shafiu.
Channels of PSM prioritises works done by youth and PSM will always support youth, Managing Director Ibrahim Khaleel stated speaking after signing the agreement. Khaleel noted PSM will broadcast more documentaries and fisheries related air time on different platforms of PSM. He appreciated the efforts of Gemanafushi Masveringe Jamiyya in participating youth in fishing.
PSM plans to establish a Fishermen's network connecting all fishermen across the country, Deputy Managing Director of PSM Mohamed Ikram Abdul Latheef said speaking at the function. Meanwhile, Gemanafushi Masveringe Jamiyya said participation of PSM in the project gives them a boost and hope of success.
