STO begins to transport food items to islands

State Trading Organisation (STO) has started sending food items to islands nearing Ramadan.
Similar to previous years, STO has set special prices for essential items needed such as onion, potato and eggs. Arrangements have been made in Industrial Village to issue these items, according to STO.
The second shipment of goods will be received soon, the first shipment will be available from Male' as well as STO outlets in atolls, Senior General Manager of STO Ahmed Shifan said speaking to PSM News.
