Minister of Economic Development Mohamed Saeed has inaugurated Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) 2018.
TTM is a six-day, multi-event trade fair organised by Maldives Getaways.
Adressing the function held at Bandos Maldives, Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed spoke about the importance of such an event and praised the efforts of Maldives Getaways.
Minister Saeed further noted the efforts of private sector in modernisation and introduction of new concepts to the tourism industry of Maldives.
The Hotelier Summit, with its information sessions, presentations and penal discussions was held as part of TTM 2018.
The main topics of discussion include safety and security of Chinese tourists in Maldives, the tourism policy of Maldives, airport and air travel, destination marketing, hotel revenue and hotel automation, according to Maldives Getaways.
Participants of Hotelier Summit include top management figures of state organizations, key tourism industry stakeholders and managers at resorts operating in the Maldives.
