National telecommunication company, Dhiraagu has signed as the powered by sponsor of FIFA World Cup 2018 coverage of Public Service Media (PSM). The agreement of the sponsorship was signed by CEO and Managing Director of Dhiraagu Ismail Rasheed and Managing Director of PSM Ibrahim Khaleel.
Football is the most popular sport among Maldivians and participating in the coverage of World Cup gives the company immense pleasure, CEO of Dhiraagu Ismail Rasheed noted speaking after signing the agreement.
Furthermore, speaking at the ceremony, Managing Director of PSM Ibrahim Khaleel highlighted the strong bond with Dhiraagu, adding the participation of the national telecommunication provider will further strengthen the coverage. The coverage would be one of the most extraordinary football coverage in Maldives, according to Deputy Managing Director of PSM Mohamed Ikram.
PSM has now begun the coverage of FIFA World Cup, with the participation of analysts and former sports personnel.
