Youth must stand against negative ideologies: Defence Minister

Minister of Defence and National Security Adam Shareef Umar has stated Maldivian youth should take a stand against the negative effects caused by the waves of different ideologies in the county.
The country has become a victim of major negative effects of the clashes of different ideologies, the Defence Minister said addressing the graduation ceremony of Islamic University of Maldives. Minister Adam Shareef noted such acts are weapons utilised to tarnish the image of Muslim countries and called on all Maldivian youth to take a stand against such actions.
A total of 304 students graduated from Islamic University of Maldives this year.
