The company had always had a vision of exploiting uncharted advancement in the education sector, Executive Director of Islanders Education Ahmed Adhlee Rasheed noted speaking on Maldives Today programme aired on PSM News. In this regard, Adhlee Rasheed highlighted various hurdles have been faced since Islanders Education initiated the idea of introducing the first international school. Islanders Education has overcome the challenges and currently operates 13 schools and institutions with over 4 thousand 200 full time students and 622 staff.
Continuing on, Adhlee assured the Finland education system introduced by Islanders Education in Maldives would bring revolutionary positive end results to the education system of the country. Maldivians are well aware of the education systems and noted the education systems in Canada and Finland follow the promotion of equitable education, stated Adhlee, adding that schools in Finland aim to up scale the education of all students rather than solely focusing on the development of brighter students and noted the objective aligns with the all-inclusive education policy of the government.
The Finland education system would be introduced in two phases, according to Islanders Education. In the first phase, existing schools will implement the Finland education system by 2019, while a brand new International Finland School will be developed in Maldives as part of the second phase.
