PSM opens sponsorship opportunity for World Cup coverage

Public Service Media (PSM) has opened sponsorship opportunity for its World cup 2018 coverage programme.
PSM has attained the broadcasting rights, mobile rights and cable rights of the World Cup, which is set to kick off in Russia on June 14, Deputy Managing Director of PSM Mohamed Ikram Abdul Latheef noted while addressing a press briefing. Ikram revealed PSM is willing to provide live feed of the matches and other related footage to other local channels.
Furthermore, special permission has to be taken from PSM to telecast and air footage of the World Cup, according to Director E-commerce of PSM Ibrahim Nasreen. He highlighted PSM would also assist interested parties to telecast match feeds of the World Cup.
PSM has been conducting various activities to mark the kick off of World Cup and has also launched a special countdown coverage programme on its channels.
