Minister of Environment and Energy Thoriq Ibrahim has called on former President Mohamed Nasheed to refrain from spreading misinformation regarding the development projects conducted in Maldives.
While the government is continuously working for the betterment of the citizens of Maldives, some politicians are spreading fabricated information in foreign countries which undermines the foreign investor trust in the country, Environment Minister Thoriq Ibrahim said speaking at the ceremony held to sign the contract of establishment of sewerage facilities in 3 islands.
Noting that such development projects were not brought to Maldives during the past administrations, Minister Thoriq assured the current administration will always work to enhance the livelihoods of the people.
