No changes in Visa policy by India : Foreign Ministry

Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed, there has been no changes in visa policy by the government of India.

The statement of the Ministry came following media reports claiming a suspension on issuing visas for Maldivians travelling to India for purposes other than tourism.

Foreign Ministry noted that government of Maldives has received confirmation from the Indian Embassy in Malé that no changes have been brought in visa policy by the government of India.
