Empowering kids with down syndrome

Staff of the flag carrier airline Maldivian has carried out special activities to empower kids with down syndrome. The activities were carried out to coincide with World Down Syndrome Day, which is observed on March 21.

The children with down syndrome were given a tour of the sea plane terminal and its operations, according to Maldivian. These children were allowed to go on the sea planes and were awarded with gifts after the tour. On World Down Syndrome Day, people with the condition and those who live and work with them throughout the world organize and participate in activities and events to raise public awareness and create a single global voice for advocating for the rights, inclusion and wellbeing of people with down syndrome.
