Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has signed agreements with State Trading Organization (STO) to supply fuel for a two year period.
At the signing ceremony held at the STO Head Office, the agreements were signed by Managing Director of MACL Adil Moosa and Managing Director of STO Ahmed Shaheer. Under this agreement, STO would provide fuel for MACL as per the demand, of Velana International Airport.
Addressing the ceremony, Managing Director of STO Ahmed Shaheer revealed that the agreement was worth approximately USD 200 million. Shaheer reiterated the company's commitment to delivering its services in accordance with the agreement.
Addressing the ceremony Managing Director of MACL Adil Moosa highlighted the partnership both companies have enjoyed and applauded STO for its uninterrupted service in providing fuel to MACL.
On commencement, the fuel farm developed is expected to bring revolutionary changes to this sector, revealed Adil.
