President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sendt a congratulatory message to the President of Nepal Bidhya Devi Bhandari, following her re-election.
In the message, President Abdulla Yameen extended warm congratulations and sincere well wishes on behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives to the Nepalese President on the re-election for a second term.
President Yameen expressed hope to working closely with the Nepalese President in further expanding the enduring ties of friendship between the Maldives and Nepal. The President further extended confidence that the close relations that exist between two countries will be further enhanced in the coming years.
