Reserve of MMA increases by 3.03%

Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has revealed its reserve has increased by USD 822,000 USD during February, which is an increase of 3.03% compared to January.

MMA reserve amounted to over USD 27 million by the end of February, according to the financial position statement of February. At the end of January, the reserve of MMA was at USD 26 million. MMA revealed its foreign currency increased by 12.9 percent in February compared to the previous month.

The economy of the country is developing as predicted, as a result of the numerous developmental projects conducted across the country, according to statistics of government authorities.
