Maldivian refutes claims on cancellation of its flights to China

National flag carrier, Maldivian, has revealed that the airline has not cancelled its flights to China.

Maldivian said the airline has downgraded its operations to accommodate the dip in Chinese tourist movement after Chinese New Year. The airline noted the downgrading takes place every year.

However, the airline informed its flights to Chongqing and Chengdu will operate as planned. Maldivian further added it would commence normal operations to all Chinese destinations in April.

The national Airline currently flies to a total of 5 Chinese cities.
