State Trading Organisation (STO) has decided to reduce the prices of diesel and petrol.
A petrol litre would be sold for MVR 10.11 which is a decrease of MVR 0.30, while a diesel litre would be sold for MVR 10.21 which is a decrease of MVR 0.20 compared to the current prices. The changes in oil prices in the international market for reducing the prices of petrol and diesel sold in Maldives, according to the state-owned company.
The latest price changes implemented by STO was on January 17 when the company set the prices of a petrol and diesel litre at 10.41 rufiyaa.
