The Non-Resident Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Maldives Bulat Sarsenbayev has paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohamed Asim.
At the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Asim and Ambassador Bulat exchanged views on further strengthening the close bilateral ties that exist between the two countries.
The Maldives and Kazakhstan have been working closely together on areas of mutual interest at the international fora. Kazakhstan is an active partner on the international front, currently serving as a non-permanent member at the United Nations Security Council.
