Maldives has held the first-ever workforce management exhibition, HR Summit and Expo.
The summit is designed to bring together business executives, HR directors and other HR professionals from a broad spectrum of industries for a conference and exhibition, according to the organiser, HR Maldives. The organiser revealed delegates discussed challenges and best practices not only within the field of HR, but also with regards to overall company strategy, culture, and direction and how it will play a pivotal role in the future business.
During the summit, Chairman of SIMDI Group Ibrahim Mohamed Didi was conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award for his tremendous work in developing the human resources in the country, with Executive Housekeeper of Fihalhohi Island Resort Hussain Shukree conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award for serving in one company for more than 25 years.
Furthermore, 50 parties were conferred the HR Leaders Award for their services in the human resource management sector of Maldives.
Around 180 staff from 60 companies participated in the HR Summit and Expo.
