Eight Maldivian youth depart to Lahore, Pakistan to participate in an exclusive youth exchange programme conducted with the Government of Pakistan. The programme is held with the purpose of strengthening ties between the two countries and providing the opportunity to experience different cultures. During the visit, the participants will take part in different activities and information sessions.
The programme will enable the Maldivian youth to know more about the culture of Pakistan and learn about the involvement of youth in development, according to Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Youth Ministry revealed that Maldivian youth will meet youth leader networks of Pakistan. The Ministry has previously conducted exchange programmes with China and India.
