PPM targets heavy criticism at former Vice President Dr. Jameel

Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) has targeted heavy criticism at former Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed for his recent tactics to topple the lawfully elected Government of Maldives.

The political tactics used by former Vice President Jameel does not pose any value and stated that he never had the people's support, Deputy Leader of the party Abdul Raheem Abdulla said addressing a rally organised by PPM. Abdul Raheem Abdulla called on all security forces to arrest fugitives such as Leader of Jumhoory Party Qasim Ibrahim and former Vice President Mohamed Jameel Ahmed.

Addressing the rally, Parliamentary Group Leader of the ruling party Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik applauded the leadership of Abdul Raheem Abdulla for his efforts in delivering authentic and factually correct information to the public regarding attempted coup on February 1. The rally was attended by cabinet ministers, parliamentarians and a large number of supporters of the Government.
