Ministry of Health has begun dental care treatments in seven hospitals across Maldives.
Dental care treatments have now commenced in Laamu Gan Regional Hospital, Gaafu Dhaalu Thinadhoo Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital, Baa Atoll Hospital, Lhaviyani Atoll Hospital, Haa Alifu Atoll Hospital, Gaafu Alifu Hospital and Fuvahmulah City Hospital, according to Health Ministry.
The Ministry added that machinery and equipment are installed in the hospitals noting that it includes dental chairs, dental X-ray machines and other modern equipment. The main aim of starting dental services in these hospitals is to enable citizens to dental care without travelling to other islands, according to Health Ministry.
