Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) has said President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom is a true leader who would always serve Maldives in the limits allowed by the Constitution.

Continuing on, Ali Arif emphasised that President Yameen has been fulfilling his duties with full might and loyalty. However, he noted the opposition has not been responsible, throughout the State of Emergency, with opposition parliamentarians exercising a mass boycott of the parliament.
