Ambassador of the European Union calls on Foreign Minister

Ambassador of the European Union to the Maldives Tung-lai Margue has called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohamed Asim.

Minister Asim and Ambassador Margue held discussions about the ongoing political events in the country, and the relations between the European Union and the Maldives. Foreign Minister emphasised that the Maldives attaches high importance to its relations with European Union and appreciated the support and co-operation extended by the Union.

Minister Asim also reiterated the commitment of the Government of Maldives in upholding the rule of law in the country.
