President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent messages of felicitation to President Xi Jinping and Premier of the State Council of China Li Keqiang, on the occasion of the Chinese New Year.
The President’s message to the Chinese President extended warmest greetings and sincere felicitations of the Government and the people of the Maldives to the President, the Government and the friendly people of China, on the auspicious occasion of the Chinese New Year.
President extended gratitude towards the President of China for the diligent attention to the development needs of the Maldives, and the feats that the two countries have accomplished in the past year expressing renewed commitment for successful collaboration between the two countries.
President sent best wishes for Chinese President's health and well-being, and profound aspiration to further bolster the relations towards greater benefits for the people of both countries.
