Ministry of Education has opened opportunity to apply for Masters and PhD programmes provided by Islamic Development Bank (IDB). Education Ministry said IDB granted a total of 5 scholarship opportunities this window and advised applicants to send proposals in areas which would develop the nation.
Educational opportunities provided by IDB have increased in the past 4 years, Minister of State for Education Dr. Abdulla Nazeer said in an exclusive interview with PSM News.
In this regard, the State Minister added the Masters level scholarship opportunities for 2018-19 is opened from member countries of IDB which includes countries such as Malaysia, Morocco, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, the PhD level courses are opened from the member countries of The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) which includes countries such as United Kingdom, United States, New Zealand, Canada, Australia, Japan and Germany.
