ATA showcases Maldives in NY times travel show 2018

Maldives Association of Travel Agents (ATA) has showcased Maldives in the New York Times Travel Show 2018 held in New York City from January 26 to 28.

The New York Times Travel Show 2018 was a gateway to the U.S. travel market and the most coveted consumer demographic. The main aim of participating in New York travel show is to further promote Maldives as a tourist destination, revealed ATA.

ATA noted the support of the government towards the show highlighting that Ambassador of the Maldives to the United States of America Ali Naseer Mohamed visited and met with officials participating from Maldives.

The Travel Show has grown in many ways over the last fifteen years as destinations, cruise lines and tourism organisations from around the world have participated in North America's number 1 travel trade and consumer show. Over 170 countries are represented in the show and over 500 companies are exhibiting in the 2018 show.

Founded in 2014 by a highly experienced and ambitious group of travel agents, ATA represents the interests of travel agents and tour operators in the Maldives.
