Public Service Media (PSM) has announced that it would begin to telecast auditions of Maldivian Idol Season 3 on February 2.
This year auditions were held in Male' city, Hithadhoo Island of Addu city and Ungoofaaru Island of Raa Atoll. Although, the judging panel had 3 judges in the first two seasons, the season's judging panel consists of four experienced musicians of the country. The title sponsor of Maldivian Idol season 3 is national telecommunications provider, Dhiraagu. Maldivian Idol is part of the global Idol franchise, and marks the biggest singing competition series.
