Ministry of Youth and Sports has assigned Public Service Media (PSM) as the media partner for Youth Challenge 2018. The agreement of partnership were signed by Minister of Youth and Sports Iruthishaam Adam and Deputy Managing Director of PSM Mohamed Ikraam Abdul Latheef.
Youth Challenge 2018 would provide the optimum platform for showcasing the talent of Maldivian youth to the public, Minister of Youth and Sports Iruthishaam Adam stated addressing the ceremony.
The administration of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has showcased exemplary efforts for the development of the Maldivian youth by expanding the scope in sports and job opportunities, Deputy Managing Director of PSM stated addressing the signing ceremony. Ikraam highlighted that President Yameen has been successful in achieving his electoral pledge of producing 94,000 job opportunities and applauded the various developmental projects carried out by the current administration.
Organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Youth Challenge aims to provide opportunities to have direct contact with training institutions, colleges, universities and other such organisations that offers training and educational opportunities in various career fields. Local and international educational institutions and other key government and private organisations from various fields participate in the fair.
The first edition of Youth Challenge was held in 1999.
