Minister of Health Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim has revealed plans to implement internationally approved guidelines in the healthcare service sector.
Work is progressing at a fast pace to establish a total of 50 key guidelines to implement in the health sector, Health Minister Abdulla Nazim said in an exclusive interview with PSM News. Minister Nazim revealed that the core objective of the guidelines is to boost and maintain the quality of health care services in Maldives.
The Minister added that the guidelines are expected to tackle the challenges faced in providing better healthcare services in Maldives. The guidelines would also prove to be a medium for scaling the services provided from different healthcare providers, according to the Minister.
