President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has arrived back in Male’ city on conclusion of his visit to some Islands of Noonu Atoll, Lhaviyani Atoll and Baa Atoll.
During his visit to Noonu Atoll, the President inaugurated the harbour at Maalhendhoo, Holhudhoo and Velidhoo Islands; officially opened the Maalhendhoo mosque; and inaugurated sewerage services in Hen’badhoo Island.
The President then has visited Hinnavaru Island of Lhaviyani Atoll, where he inaugurated services for clean drinking water. As part of his tour, the President visited Baa Atoll, where he inaugurated the harbour at Kendhoo Island, and took part in the ceremony to mark the completion of the land reclamation project and the beach protection project in Eydhafushi Island.
As the last leg of his tour, the President visited Thulhaadhoo to inaugurate the island’s harbor, and took part in the ceremony to mark the completion of the island’s beach protection project.
