Minister of Youth and Sports Iruthisham Adam has revealed that the current administration is exerting major efforts to implement a system through which students would be able to take part in research procedures at policy implementing level.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of Hissaa Programme of MAPS College, Youth Minister Iruthisham Adam assured that the aim of the administration would be achieved in a near future. Noting that students play a crucial role in the development of a nation the Youth Minister stated that authorities aim to provide all necessary assistance in building responsible and talented youth in the Maldivian society.
The Youth Programme which is an initiate of the students of MAPS College is based on information and discussions held through Youth Forum 2017. In the programme, professionals and experts from relevant fields would carry out lectures and would include field trips to attain practical knowledge in these fields. According to the information provided by MAPS College a total of 10 sessions would be carried out in the programme.
