Maldivian expands its sea plane fleet

National carrier, Maldivian has expanded its sea plane fleet with the addition of another aircraft. With the addition of DHC-6 Twin Otter, Maldivian now operates 12 seaplanes in its fleet.

Speaking to PSM News, Managing Director of Island Aviation Abdul Haris assured that the additional aircraft will enhance the seaplane operation. The Island Aviation is fully prepared to match the development with the advancement of its services, Abdul Haris added, noting that the tourism sector of Maldives is developing at a fast pace.

Island Aviation plans to add another 2 aircrafts to the Maldivian sea plane fleet next month.
