Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has collected about USD 59 million as earnings in November 2017. This is recorded as an increase of 7.5% than the projected income for November.
With the earnings of November, the total earning of MIRA reached over USD 895 million this year. This is an increase of 4.5% compared to the income received to MIRA in the same period of last year.
The highest amount of income was collected as Goods and Services Tax (GST), which amounted to 64.7% of the total income recieved by MIRA, according to statistics published by MIRA.
Furthermore, MIRA was paid USD 36.4 million as various charges during November.
