Maldives Meteorological Service has denied reports that Maldives will experience a storm next month.
Maldives is experiencing low pressure trough over Sri Lanka and adjoining South-West Bay of Bengal, according to Meteorological Office.
Meteorological Office has issued a white alert for areas between Lhaviyani and Thaa atoll. The Maldives Meteorological Service forecast heavy rain and thunderstorms with gust winds of 40 miles per hour in the area.
