Ministry of Economic Development has commenced the third round of the SME Financial Forum in Kulhudhuffushi Island of Haa Dhaalu Atoll.
Economic Ministry said the core objective of SME Financial Forum is to disseminate information on expanding and accessing to finance for small and medium businesses. 150 individuals participated in the third round of SME Financial Forum 2017. Officials from Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) and Economic Ministry held sessions at the forum.
Previously, Economic Ministry had conducted forums in most populated islands of Maldives such as Hithadhoo of Addu City and Mulak of Meemu Atoll. Economic Ministry revealed plans of expanding SME Financial Forum by organising a national level forums next year.
