Tourist arrivals to Maldives from the United States of America have increased by 18.3% in 2017.
34.400 tourists arrived to Maldives from the United States in the first 10 months of this year, as per the latest statistics released by the Ministry of Tourism. America, which is amongst the top ten tourist arrival countries to Maldives, has maintained a steady growth in the increase of tourist arrivals throughout the year. The total American tourist arrival was at 30,500 which is an 11% increase compared to 2015, last year.
A total of over 1.1 million tourists have arrived to Maldives in the first 10 months of this year, which is an increase of 6% compared to the same period of last year.
