The Bangladesh Ambassador to Maldives, Rear Admiral Akhtar Habib has paid a courtesy call on Chief of Maldives National Defence Force Major General Ahmed Shiyam.
During the meeting, Ambassador Akhtar Habib and Major General Shiyam discussed on ways to further strengthen military cooperation between two countries. The discussions also focused on developing training programmes for Maldives National Defence Force.
Major General Ahmed Shiyam thanked the Ambassador for the continuous support extended by Bangladesh Armed Forces to Maldives National Defense Force.
