Minister of housing and infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has revealed that the largest harbor development project of the current administration will be conducted at Kulhudhuffushi Island in Haa Dhaalu atoll.
Addressing the function held by Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) to mark its 6th anniversary, Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu stated that major development projects will be conducted in Kulhudhuffushi Island, which will be followed by the development of the airport.
Furthermore, the Housing Minister revealed plans of the administration to develop a harbour which will be 1,100-foot in length and 500-foot in width. He further said that harbour development project would be funded by donations from foreign parties. As part of the harbour development project, a fish market and a ferry terminal will be developed in Kulhudhuffushi.
The project would bring a major boost in the development of business opportunities in the region, added Housing Minister Dr.Muizzu.
