World Travel Market 2017 has kicked off with participation of world renowned companies and personals working in the global tourism industry.
WTM is one of the most celebrated and touted travel fairs globally and is ranked as the second most prestigious fair in the global tourism industry. This year's fair boasts participation of about 5 thousand world renowned companies working in the global tourism industry. The WTM fair which concludes on Wednesday saw over 70 companies representing Maldives, in attendance.
The Maldivian delegation at WTM is led by Attorney General, Mohamed Anil. Addressing the press after launching the Maldivian stand at World Travel Market 2017, Attorney General Mohamed Anil stated that such fairs play a crucial role in the developmental works executed by the current administration of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom in the Maldivian Tourism sector.
Members of the Maldivian delegation stated that the fair provides a golden opportunity to expand and advertise Maldivian tourism to the world.
