Mental Health Awareness Foundation collaborates with Business High Commission and National Health Care Academy of Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) to conduct a seminar titled “Substance Use and Mental Health.”
Dr. Jayamal De Silva conducted the one-day seminar regarding mental wellbeing and usage of narcotics. A total of 35 participants from related fields; such as doctors, nurses and students took part in the seminar. Through such a seminars, the participants would get an idea on appropriate ways to deal with patients of the seminar, Co-Founder of Mental Health Awareness Foundation Aishath Yulia stated during an exclusive interview with PSM News.
Mental Health Awareness Foundation had earlier collaborated with various organisations to carry out events to disseminate information on the importance of mental well-being.
