President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has concluded his official visit to Kudahuvadhoo Island and Maaenboodhoo Island of of Dhaalu Atoll and Nilandhoo Island of Faafu Atoll.
During the visit, President Yameen officially inaugurated Dhaalu Airport in Kudahuvadhoo Island. The Dhaalu Airport was developed with a runway of 1800 metres, with a land area of 62 hectares reclaimed for the airport development project. The main aim of the administration is to conduct economic activities and that the top priority of the administration is to strengthen the Maldivian economy, President Yameen stated while speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Dhaalu Airport.
Furthermore, President Yameen inaugurated the state-funded sewerage system in Maaenboodhoo Island. President shed light on the development projects and policies of the administration while speaking at the ceremony held following the inauguration of sewerage system. Every administration must make the people's needs a priority in carrying out development projects the President stated.
The President also met with residents of the three islands and spoke of his administration's development plans and economic agenda.
